Two ways to start
I have an event to send
Ready now? Fill a short form with the details. It takes about two minutes.
I want to know more first
Leave your email and we send the details: how it works, what it costs, what we need from you.
How it works
You send it
Name, date, time, place, price and your official link.
We check it
We confirm the details at your official page, never from a ticket aggregator. If something does not match, we ask you.
We share it
If it fits, it goes on our page, Instagram and weekly email, and we tag you.
What we look for
- Open to the public, in Toronto or the GTA
- Something people would send to a friend
- Free, cultural, dance, music, food, community
- A real organizer and an official page
What we do not post
- Events that put people down for who they are
- Unclear prices, or details we cannot verify
- Campaign events
- Anything misleading
What it costs
Free listing
If your event fits, we share it. No payment, no strings.
Partner placement
An extra, clearly labelled "Partner" spot for events that want more reach. Ask us for details.

Questions organizers ask
Does it cost anything to be listed?
No. Listing is free if your event fits. Paid "Partner" placements exist, they are always labelled, and they never change what we choose to feature.
Will you share every event I send?
No. We pick what we think people will send to a friend, and we do not post what we cannot verify. If it is not a fit, we tell you.
How early should I send it?
As early as you can. For festivals and big events, a few weeks ahead gives us time to check and plan. Small weekly events are fine closer to the date.
Can you use my photos or poster?
Yes, if you send them to us. Tell us who to credit and we credit them.
What if the details change?
Write to hello@torontowhatson.ca and we update it.
We found our way around Toronto the hard way. Now we make it easier.
- Woman-led
- BIPOC-led
- Immigrant-led
We find the good stuff, check it and share it, so you never need an insider.
