Who we are

What's On Toronto ("we") is a Toronto guide to events, free things and hidden gems. Contact: hello@torontowhatson.ca. Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

What we collect

If you join the weekly email: your email address, the interests you choose, and proof that you agreed (date and time, the IP address used, your browser details and the text you saw). You confirm your email by clicking a link we send you.

If you ask an organizer question or send an event: the event details you give us, your name and your email.

If you ask for a reminder: we use your email once to send you one message. We do not add you to any list and we do not keep it.

Why

To send you what you asked for, to reply to you, and to keep proof of your consent.

Who sees it

Our email service provider, MailerLite, sends the weekly email and may store data outside Canada. Our website host, Hostinger, stores the website and the details you send us. We do not sell your information. We do not give our subscriber list to sponsors.

Sponsors

Some emails include labelled sponsor content. Sponsors do not receive your email address.

How long we keep it

We keep your details while you are subscribed. After you unsubscribe, we keep only the proof of your consent, for as long as we need it to show that you agreed.
